Deposit your research publications and datasets in LSE Research Online
LSE authors can deposit their research publications and datasets in LSE Research Online (LSERO) using the deposit forms below. If you are unsure whether your output is eligible, please check our Content Policy
Publications
Depositing publications in LSERO is a requirement of the LSE Open Access Publications Policy, essential for the REF and complying with research funder open access policies. It also increases visibility, helping you reach a wider audience and often leading to more citations and greater impact.
If your submission is published by LSE we may be able to create a DOI, please request this via the form.
Please have the following information ready for your deposit:
For all publications:
- Publication title
- Publisher
- Funder (if applicable)
- Manuscript
For journal articles:
- Journal name
- Date of acceptance (required for REF)
For books and chapters:
- Approximate contract date
- Book editors (if applicable)
Datasets
Depositing your dataset within LSERO ensures your data is properly preserved for the long-term and can be shared with a wide audience. If you have deposited your data elsewhere, you can submit information about your dataset in LSERO and link it to your publications.
All datasets deposited will receive a DOI – a unique and persistent identifier which you can use in your publications to link to your dataset.
To deposit your dataset files or add a link to an external dataset, please complete our form with the relevant information about your dataset.
For dataset file deposits please also refer to our data preparation guidance before completing.
PhD theses should be submitted by current students as per PhD Academy guidance. Past students should email lseresearchonline@lse.ac.uk to discuss depositing their thesis.
